Designed specifically for the demanding hospitality and events industries, these partitions combine 52dB acoustic insulation with a zero-floor-track mechanism, enabling hotels and convention centers to seamlessly reconfigure ballrooms, meeting suites, and restaurant spaces in under 90 seconds.
The Evolve Series represents a major engineering leap from traditional folding panels. Each retractable partition wall utilizes a patented top-hung load-bearing trolley system that supports panels up to 5 meters in height while requiring no floor guides—eliminating trip hazards and preserving luxury flooring. Neuwall’s manufacturing facility in Guangzhou has already begun production, with the first units shipping to a Marriott property in Singapore and an IHG hotel in London. The Evolve Series is fully customizable: buyers can choose from 200 fabric colors, integrated whiteboards, or even LED-backlit glass panels. Fire resistance (Class A) and GREENGUARD Gold certification come standard. “Sustainability is central to our design ethos,” added Zhang. “These retractable partition walls are 96% recyclable by weight, and their durability means fewer renovations over the building’s lifetime. The launch addresses a booming market for adaptable interiors. According to recent industry data, the global operable wall market is projected to grow 8% annually, driven by hybrid work and experiential retail. Unlike cheaper manual dividers, Neuwall’s retractable partition walls feature an optional motorized drive system with soft-start/stop technology. A smart control app allows facility managers to preset floorplan configurations—saving labor costs and reducing wear.
Neuwall is also announcing a limited warranty extension: five years on all moving parts and ten years on panel construction.
